TAIMI presented during visit to Helsinki XR Center
On 6 May 2026, TAIMI researcher Yannick Lahti visited the Helsinki XR Center to present the TAIMI project and discuss the role of AI, digitalisation, and extended reality technologies in shaping the future of work.
During the visit, Lahti met with Tiina Vuorio, Director of Helsinki XR Center. Their discussion focused on how emerging digital technologies can influence working life, skills development, collaboration, and inclusion.
The visit also offered an opportunity to explore XR technologies in practice, as Lahti tested XR glasses at the centre. These hands-on experiences support TAIMI’s broader interest in understanding how new technologies are changing work environments and the skills people need to participate in them.
