Shahnaj Begum Participated in Collaboration Meeting on Nursing Education
On 15 December 2025, Shahnaj Begum took part in a collaboration meeting focused on the development of nursing education and strengthening cultural competence in elderly care.
The meeting was organized by Work Package Leader Markku Sippola and held with Marjut Asunmaa, DP in Nursing Education Manager at SEAMK.
During the discussion, participants explored ways to align WP objectives with ongoing research activities and examined strategies to enhance cultural competence within nursing curricula. The meeting provided an important opportunity to connect research insights with educational development, supporting more inclusive and culturally responsive elderly care practices.
Shahnaj’s participation contributed to advancing WP goals related to diversity, inclusion, and culturally sensitive care in nursing education.
