Bastian Tammentie

Bastian Tammentie is a Research Scientist in the Human Factors in Work Transformation team at VTT. He holds a Master’s degree in Sociology and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Social Psychology, focusing on human agency and smart technologies in industrial manufacturing contexts. His research interests center on work transformation and human factors, including human-automation teaming, user experience, and organizational development.

Bastian’s work explores how emerging technologies reshape work practices and how organizations and individuals adapt to increasingly automated and intelligent systems. Through his research, Bastian aims to contribute to the design and implementation of technologies that support effective collaboration between humans and automated systems while enhancing meaningful work and organizational performance.
